Condition

In overall good condition. The panel is uncradled, flat and stable, with a join running horizontally across the width of the panel, around a quarter of the way from the upper margin. The paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is only slightly discoloured. There is a minor degree of wear visible in some of the darker pigments. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very few, small scattered retouchings in the sky, but overall very little intervention. Offered in a plain painted wood frame in good condition.
