Condition
The support is made up of 5 horizontal panels. The panel is not cradled, but has some supportive batons on the reverse. There is a large crack across the whole width - about fifteen inches from the upper margin. There is a panel join 22 inches from the bottom which is opening up very slightly at the right margin. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals a thick yellow varnish and some retouchings along the aforementioned panel joins and some other more minor scattered retouchings.
