Condition
In overall good condition. The panel is formed of a single plank, which is uncradled and bowed, with an old vertical repaired crack running through the centre, but not extending the whole height of the panel. The paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is clear and even. There are two arc-shaped very superficial scratches in the upper left corner. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some retouchings along a short section of the aforementioned split, above and through the Madonna and Elizabeth. There is another vertical line of retouching in the sky, measuring approx. 10cm., and other small scattered retouchings throughout. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition.
