Condition

Overall, the condition of the gold is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are some minor nicks, in particular to the edges, including two small dents to the left edge on Saint Barbara's side at the height of her shoulder and elbow, and several small nicks to the edge between the figures. There are several minor scratches, including to the inside of the hoop. There is some very minor tarnishing to the inside of the hoop. There is some very minor warping to the bezel and hoop in areas.
