Condition

Overall, the condition of the cup is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some stable splitting to the coconut timber, consistent with the material. There is a reattachment to the top edge behind one of the mounts. The coconut is slightly loose in the mount. There is some greening visible to the coconut where it meets the mounts. The copper is in good condition, with some dirt and wear. There is some rubbing to the copper, particularly at the high points, notably at the foot. The copper is very slightly warped, particularly to the top edge and to the edge of the foot. There is minor greening in areas, including to the inside of the top rim.
