There are a few minor losses and chips around the edges and corners, particularly to the top left corner. There is yellowing to the surface throughout, in particular at the back. There are areas of scratching to the reverse. There is minor rubbing to the surface at the high points such as the noses. There is particular dirt in the crevices. There is some glue residue to the reverse, where sellotape has been applied to hold the ivory in place. There is a hole at the top of the panel, which supports the metal strut of the stand.
The stand is in very good condition, with minor general wear, including some oxidation to the metal.
