Overall, the condition of the wood is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material, including a split running along the forehead and the proper right side of the face and a split running through the proper right eye. Some glue residue is visible to the reverse at these splits, and it is possible there are some reattachments. There is some minor rubbing to the high points of the nose and the eyebrows.
