Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few losses, including to the base and to the toes on the proper right foot. There are a few areas of well-concealed restoration, including to the proper right arm, to the proper right ankle and a section of the base, and to the drapery around the proper right leg. There is minor pitting, or lacunae, to the terracotta throughout. There are some possible surface restorations to the foliage, where there is a dark slip in areas. There are a few minor nicks and scratches. There are a few minor hairline firing cracks, consistent with the material, including to the figure's back.
