  • Okimono (or 'objet de vertu') of a Skull with Sansukumi (Snake and Frogs)

Condition

Overall the condition of the ivory is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is particular dirt in the crevices. The tail of one of the snakes at the bottom at the back is either carved separately or has been reattached. The surface has yellowed in areas.
