Condition
This large watercolour is in generally good condition, and the colours remain bright and fresh. Some of the more delicate pigments in the foreground may have softened with time, but this does not disrupt the balance of the composition. Around the extreme edges of the sheet, there is some discolouration and very minor pigment loss associated with framing. This is hidden by the current mount. The sheet is laid down.
