Condition

An interesting table in country house condition. There have been a number of estate repairs to the underside of the top which has secured it and two metal brackets to the underside of the base. The surface of the top is distressed with one central crack to the leather which can be seen in the catalogue photograph. There is a section of moulding to the edge of the top which has been lost measuring approximately 10cm in length. A further are of the moulding to the very edge of the table has been crudely restored with two modern screws which may benefit from professional attention. There are some losses to the simulated rosewood to the stem of the base and the quatrefoil stretcher. This is a stylish table which will benefit from some light workshop conservation.
