shaped oval, the borders decorated with curved flutes and lobes, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms within a drapery cartouche, the undersides of three numbered 2, 3 and 4, respectively engraved with scratch weights: '16=14,' '16=11' and '16=14,' all engraved with the initials 'T.S' and 'Sometimes [or 'Sometime'] taken to the Country'

The arms are those of Arthur Hill-Trevor, 1st Viscount Dungannon (1694-1771).

All with clear marks to the underside, some a little rubbed. The centres with varying levels of wear to the engraved arms. The edges with small splits and silver solder repairs to underside. One with applied silver wire to underside centre rim, to repair split. Otherwise good condition commensurate with age and use.

The arms are those of Hill-Trevor of Belvoir, co. Down, and Brynkinalt, co. Denbigh with Stafford in pretence for Arthur Hill-Trevor, formerly Trevor, who on 17 February 1766 was created Baron Hill of Olderfleet and Viscount of Dungannon. His second wife, whom he married on 12 January 1737, was Anne (1715-1799), daughter and heir of Edmund Francis Stafford of Brownstown, co. Meath, and Mount Stafford, co. Antrim. Lord Dungannon, who was born in 1694 and died in 1771, was succeeded by his grandson, Arthur Hill-Trevor, 2nd Viscount Dungannon (1763-1837).
