Condition

These elegant and unusual mirrors, in original condition, present marks and scratches consistent with age, and overall foxing to the mirror glass plates. Both would benefit from light cleaning. One mirror with rubbing and wear to the gilt surface, and one repaired breakage to the bottom left side. The other mirror with the crest broken in two parts on either side, with losses to the gesso surface (visible in the catalogue photograph). More small losses to the gilding are noticeable on the bottom left side of the frame. There are some minor cracks and breakages to either bottom sides.
