the fall-front opening to reveal an arrangement of pigeon holes, above four graduated drawers

Condition

A sweet piece in 'country house' condition. The bureau interior with minor ink stains. The left loper lacking its brass handle. Minor loses to the veneers. Patches have been inserted beneath each hinge of the fall front top following old repairs. The colour of the left side is faded. Overall with minor marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use, notably to the feet.
