Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are surface spots scattered throughout. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals areas of uneven varnish which make the surface quite difficult to read. However, there is no visible sign of retouching. The picture is overall in good condition and would benefit from a light surface cleaning.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
