Description

  • porcelain
painted in purpurcamaieu with sprays of flowers and smaller flower sprigs, the rims edged in gilding, comprising a coffee pot and a cover, a teapot and cover, a further teapot and a cover, a lozenge-shaped spoon tray, a sugar bowl and cover, a slop bowl, 16 teacups in two sizes and 13 saucers, and an additional sugar bowl cover, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, some with marcolini mark, various impressed numerals and painted numerals in puce

Condition

One teapot with riveted spout, cover with loss to flower finial, the other teapot with matched chipped cover, four cups with rim chips, the additional saucer broken in two and repaired, four saucer chipped, otherwise some typical wear and surface scratching consistent with use
