Description

  • Mahogany, mercury, brass, steel, glass,

silvered dial with annular minutes enclosing subsidiary hours and seconds dials, signed Robt. Bryson, Edinburgh, the movement with shaped plates, deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, very high count train, mounted on a cast-iron bracket, the separately suspended mercury pendulum with steel flask, silvered beat plaque, the plain case with glazed trunk door,

Condition

Dial in good condition but rather dirty. Movement is complete but very much in need of a clean, pendulum contains mercury. Case in generally good condition though rather dry and some mouldings detached but we have them, one moulding missing from lower right side of hood. old scuffs and minor marks throughout. With mercury pendulum, winder and case key.
