the serpentine tops on a shaped apron decorated with c- and s-scrolls, the baluster stem in the form of a moretto, on a tripod base carved with rocaille and acanthus scrolls

Both with marks and scratches consistent with age; both tops in distressed but stable condition , having lost their central decoration. Both with overall losses and chips to the giltwood. One with part of foliate decoration broken in one point that will have to be re-attached; the joints of the base also in need of attention to prevent further splitting.
