Condition

This elegant carved pedestal is in good original condition, with overall marks and scratches. The marble top has minor chipping to the edges, with scratches concentrating in two areas. One of the four moulded borders contouring the marbe top is missing. The mahogany is lightly discoloured in places. There is a small loss on the upper left corner of one side and another fairly small one on the upper-middle part of the tracery; this side is also lacking one of the two shorter tracery pediments (on the right). The opposite side with two secure breakages to the tracery which can easily be repaired. One lateral side with a small loss to the carved mahogany. Like the previous lot, this piece would greatly benefit from a light clean.
