Condition

Overall, the condition is good, with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age.The figures are assembled loosely in the interior and some, such as the lamb, have fallen out of place. It is possible some sections were added later. A section of the rocky background on the right hand side has been detached and is loose. There is some evidence of past worming to the rocky background, as well as some losses. There is minor wear to the figures, in particular some flaking to the paint of the little shepherd figure. The child's little halo is loose. There is some wear to the fabrics, including minor fraying in areas. The glass section at the front of the cabinet has become loose in its setting. There is wear to the wood cabinet, including some very minor past worming, and some dark spotting to the wood throughout. There is a light bulb at the top of the frame on the inside, with a cable and a continental plug, this does not appear to function.
