the top of the mirror with the royal coat-of-arms of King Christian IV of Denmark and Norway, the base with a portrait medallion of the King and flanked by his cipher, above two drawers

Condition

This exquisitely carved dressing mirror is in very good condition, with minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. There are a few darkened areas and some yellowing consistent with age, together with very minor chips and some secure cracks. A delicate piece that is nonetheless of very sound construction.
