Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
There are wears along the edges, some of which have resulted in paint losses. The paint by the edges presents some cracks, some of which have also resulted in paint losses, leaving the layer of paint underneath exposed. There are few stabilized hairline cracks throughout the surface. One small web of cracks located in the upper left quadrant, close to the upper edge, has resulted in a paint loss.
Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
