Catalogue Note

A highly attractive manuscript from the 1920s dedicated by Krenek to the influential German music critic Paul Bekker (1882-1937). The delightful choruses, with texts by Goethe, were composed during a trip to France at the request of the Stuttgart Madrigal Choir.
