A letter of recommendation for the singer Mademoiselle Fremont, described as a “professora di musica”, who has sung with great success at the Teatro alla Pergola in Florence, having a good technique, agile voice and little acquaintance of theatrical intrigue, unlike a number of mediocre singers that have made operatic careers, and asking him to accord her every courtesy as is his custom (“...La mia protetta è professora di musica, cosa rara ai nostri tempi; ha buon metodo, voce [?insinuante] e scorrevole e non conosce ancora l’intrigo teatrale…”
