Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There are two very light, diagonal lines of scuffing in the upper left portion of the sky, thought to have been caused by an indentation to the back of the canvas, and to which are apparent some very fine lines of craquelure, visible upon very close inspection. There is some very light frame abrasion visible along the lower horizontal edge. There are a few fly spots visible to the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is present in a painted wooden frame.
