Condition
The canvas is original. There is some very slight undulation to the upper and lower horizontal edges. There are one or two instances of very minor studio matter in the paint. Subject to the above the work is in overall excellent condition.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching.
The work is held in a carved, painted and gilt wood frame.
