Condition

Unexamined out of frame. The sheet undulates slightly but appears stable. There are two small tears at the lower part of the right edge, and in the upper part of the left edge. There is a small tear in the collaged box at the bottom of the sheet, in keeping with the artist's technique. There is one faint horizontal crease, which runs most of the way across the centre of the sheet, from right to left. There are a small number of creases to all four edges and one crease in square fifty seven in the lower left. There is some very minor cracking to square number seven in the upper right. There is some general surface dirt and studio detritus to the work, particularly in the margins. Subject to the above the work appears to be in overall good condition. The work is presented in a simple metal frame, held behind perspex. Please telephone the department on +(44) 0207 293 6424 if you have any further questions regarding the present lot.
