Condition

Original canvas. There are some minor abrasions and handling marks visible to the extreme edge of the canvas, owing to the work being unframed. There are some light traces of surface dirt, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a few tiny flecks of fluorescence and probably retouching to scattered spots of the composition, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Catalogue Note

The present work was painted while Kidner was in close contact with Pink Floyd, who on occasion used his basement in Belsize park as a studio. Kidner and his wife would, in 1968, have a walk-on role in the band's first movie.
