Condition

Not examined out of frame. The board is stable. Its edges are uneven which is in keeping with the Artist's materials. The rubbed and incised surface also appears to be consistent with the Artist's working practise. Overall the work appears to be in good and original condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is float mounted onto a fabric-covered mount, and held under glass in a painted wooden frame with butt corners.
