Condition

Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. The work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence in keeping with the Artist's materials, but no obvious signs of restoration or retouching. There is flaking apparent to the reverse of the canvas, which has been painted by the Artist, and on which he has inscribed. The work is floated within a white painted wood tray frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 207 293 6424 if you have any questions.
