Condition

The board is sound. There is some extremely minor frame abrasions around the extreme edges, not visible in the present frame. A few of the impasto elements are very slightly flattened. There are two very minor specks of matter long the right vertical edge, not visible in the present mount. There is a light layer of surface dirt to the work, and the varnish might be very slightly discoloured as visible around the extreme edges. Subject to the above the work is in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a thick layer of varnish making the surface difficult to read.
