Condition

The paper has not been fixed down. There is some acid discoloration and prominent mount lines. Some scratches are on the chin and cheek to the left of the figure's lips. There is a 1 cm squared area of spotting to the background in the upper left quadrant, and further minor surface marks throughout. These are as visible in the catalogue illustration.
