A l'œil nu :
Le tableau apparait dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d' un rentoilage réalisé il y a environ 15 ou 20 ans un fort et qui a un peu tassé la matière. Il a également fait l'objet d'un nettoyage également un peu fort et qui à supprimer quelques légers glacis mais qui a permis de faire valoir de belles couleurs.
On remarque un agrandissement tout le long de la partie supérieure s'une bande de 3 cm.
Le tableau est de bel effet général et il est immédiatement accrochable .
A la lampe UV :
On ne remarque pas de trace d'ancien vernis. On remarque d'assez nombreuses fines reprises ponctuelles reparties sur toute la surface. On remarque une restauration de 20 cm de long horizontal, fine qui traverse les personnages dans le coin inférieur droit.
