Condition

Good condition overall. The surface of the plaster appears to have been cleaned with remains of an old patina imitating terracotta, particularly visible in the crevices. A few minor chips and scratches are visible at several places, in particular to the drapery of her proper left shoulder. Some retouch of the paint at several places, in particular to her proper right cheekbone and the front of her chest. The red marble base with a some minor chips to the lower edges appears to have been restored with a fine restored break visible.

Catalogue Note
