Condition

Illustration is accurate. Interesting object which needs some restoration. The flat surface with some wears particularly to the metal elements (brass and pewter). Some traces of oxidation and superficial marks and scratches. Minor chips and small elements missing on the lower tortoiseshell ring. Very attractive design of the Boulle marquetry.
