Condition
Illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. The veneer is slightly lifting in a few places and there are some losses to the veneer. The barometer dial has been probably added in a later period as there is no trace of barometer movement.
The chasing of the mounts is very nice.
Dial with central equation dial marked Tems Vray, centre seconds, minute hand indicating Mean and Solar time, (tail damaged). Timepiece movement with five-wheel train (probably month-going but not checked), pin wheel escapement with maintaining power, beat adjustment on the crutch, signed on the backplate as the dial. Complete but very dirty and needs full service and overhaul. With pendulum (not inspected). No winder nor weight.

Catalogue Note
