Catalogue Note

First edition of Porter's well-known musical score. Number 206 of 300 copies signed by the composer. Featuring favorites such as "It's De-Lovely," "What a Great Pair We'll Be," and "Red Hot and Blue" from the musical comedy of the same name. In a decorative silk publisher's binding; designed by Ernst Reichl, the German-American book designer behind the first American edition of James Joyce’s novel Ulysses. An extraordinarily fine survival of a notoriously fragile binding.
