Presentation copy, inscribed by the composer: "For Jimmy Stair with all good wishes from Irving Berlin." On the Avenue, the American musical film of 1937, starred Alice Faye and Dick Powell and featured the Berlin classic "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm," printed here along with "You're laughing at Me," "Slumming on Park Avenue," "This Year's Kisses," "The Girl on the Police Gazette," and "He Ain't Got Rhythm."
