Overall very good condition. The shade with approximately 10 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout (all stable). The shade with some extremely minor surface soiling to the contours adjacent to the shade leading. The top of the upper shade ring with some wear due to contact with the finial. The base is in very good condition and displays with an exceptionally rich russet brown patina. The bronze surfaces present with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, areas of rubbing and some light and minor traces of surface soiling and oxidation to the recessed contours. All of the sockets appear to be period. With a period finial in very good condition with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions. A beautiful example of the model displaying a particularly artistic and thoughtful glass selection in a naturalistic color palette. The Twisted Vine base is a particularly complementary pairing and enhances the sculptural presence and naturalistic sensibility of the lamp. When viewed in person the shade displays with a more nuanced color palette; the green foliage has more yellow undertones and the blue tiles are slightly less saturated compared to the catalogue illustration.
