Condition
Overall very good condition. When viewed in person the vase presents with strong, luminous iridescence. The glass surfaces with scattered extremely minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling, with slightly more surface scratches concentrated to the widest point of the foot. The glass with scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions, inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The interior edge of the aperture with a few small vertical toolmarks inherent in the making. The upper portion of the vase with a small inclusion within the molded “honeycomb” register measuring approximately 1/8 inch wide. With a small diagonal pulled inclusion to the upper portion of the vase measuring approximately 2 inches long, not visually detractive. The vase has great scale and presence, with subtle mold-blown decoration around the upper portion and at the base of the neck where the vase flares outward.
