Overall very good condition. When viewed in person the vase presents with intense ultramarine, aquamarine and violet hues and luminous iridescence. The glass surfaces with scattered extremely minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling, with slightly more surface scratches concentrated to the widest point of the upper portion of the vase just below the aperture. The glass with scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions, inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The interior edge of the aperture with a few small vertical toolmarks inherent in the making and with a few very minor surface irregularities on the outer edge of the aperture, also inherent in the making. The vase interior with a small open air bubble approximately one inch below the aperture. The neck with a small pulled inclusion that terminates just below the midpoint of the neck, not visually detractive. The vase is subtly iridized on the upper portion and more intensely iridized on the blue foot, imparting the piece with wonderful luminosity. The vase has great scale and presence, with subtle mold-blown decoration around the upper portion and at the base of the neck where the vase flares outward.
