Condition
Overall very good condition. The shade with approximately 22 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, stable. The top aperture of the shade appears to have been re-set and stabilized at some point in the history of the piece. The shade with some light surface soiling to the contours adjacent to the shade leading throughout. The base is in very good condition and presents with a slightly lighter brown patina when viewed in person compared to the catalogue illustration. The bronze surfaces with scattered light surface scratches, abrasions, a few minute traces of white house paint, and some minor traces of oxidation and surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design. The base standard with some minor rubbing to the patina. All sockets appear to be original and undisturbed. With a later reproduction finial in very good condition with scattered extremely minor surface scratches and abrasions. An attractive example executed with an artistic and naturalistic glass selection.
