Condition

Overall very good condition. This is an assembled set and therefore there is a slight variation in the coloration of the enameled decoration and patina across the set. The bronze surfaces throughout with scattered surface scratches, abrasions, minor dents, rubbing to the patina, minor discolorations, and scattered areas of pitting consistent with age and use. The enameled decoration throughout in overall very good condition. One of the blotter ends with a small surface fleck to the enameled geometric border measuring approximately 1/8 inch wide, not visually detractive. The letter rack with small losses to the enamel on each of the uppermost roundels. One bookend with a small enamel loss to the geometric border on the upper left corner. The baseplate of the same bookend is slightly loose, stable. Each bookend is very slightly bent. The standard of one candlesticks is slightly loose, yet stable. The inkwell is silvered bronze and retains the original interior decorated favrile glass liner. The liner is in very good condition with scattered extremely minor surface scratches.
