Condition
Overall very good condition. When viewed in person the lamp displays with strong, luminous iridization. The favrile glass surfaces of the shade and base with scattered extremely minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The glass of the shade and base with occasional scattered minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The shade with a few extremely minute fleabites on the upper aperture and lower rim. The upper collar of the base with a small tight internal vertical crack measuring approximately 1/4 inch high, stable. The bronze surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, and rubbing. The finial with rubbing and patina loss to the exterior surface. A beautiful and highly artistic small scale lamp with masterfully executed carved decoration.
