Condition
Overall very good condition. The shade with approximately 22 cracks to the geometric glass tiles dispersed throughout. All of the Turtle-Back tiles appear original and intact. The shade with light surface soiling throughout. The base is in very good condition and present with a rich russet brown patina. The bronze surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions, and with some gentle rubbing at the base of the standard. All sockets appear original and undisturbed. With a period finial in good condition with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions. When viewed in person the shade presents with slightly stronger yellow undertones to both the geometric and Turtle-Back tiles compared to the catalogue illustration. A fine example from Tiffany’s geometric and Turtle-Back series with a highly complementary base.
