Condition

Overall very good condition. The shade with approximately 3 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. All of these hairlines appear stable. The shade with some light surface soiling throughout concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines and beneath the poppy overlays. The shade with some light wear and rubbing to the patina and with some minor oxidation concentrated mainly to the filigree. The Twisted Vine base in very good condition and presents with a rich brown-green patina. The bronze surfaces with some minor surface scratches, abrasions, areas of rubbing, and a few very minor losses to the patina. The base standard with a few scattered small areas of discoloration. The base with some traces of oxidation concentrated mainly to the recessed areas of the twisted vine and around the socket cluster. All sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. With a period heat cap with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, rubbing to the patina and minor traces of oxidation. A particularly strong and dynamic example of the model displaying a richly saturated and artistic glass selection, executed with a well-varied selection of mottled, rippled and confetti glass in a balanced, contrasting color palette. The Poppy blossoms are articulated in brilliant hues of oranges and yellows dynamically positioned against a vibrant mint aqua ground.
