Condition
Overall very good condition. Each shade is beautifully decorated and richly iridized, forming a well-matched set. Each shade with expected small chips around their lower apertures, not visible when the shades are installed, and with scattered minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The bases present with a rich brown patina and with scattered light surface scratches, abrasions, and traces of light surface soiling and oxidation to the recessed contours. The central decorative finial elements at the top of each base standard are slightly different from one another as visible in the catalogue illustration. All sockets appear to be period. One lamp lacking one ball screw. A very attractive pair of lamps with dynamic and masterfully executed decorated blown glass shades.
