Condition
Overall very good condition. When viewed in person the shade presents with even greater variation to the color palette around the entire shade, ranging from more robust and boldly colored passages to more subdued and delicate passages. The shade with approximately 25 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, all stable. The shade with surface soiling throughout concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines. The base in very good condition with scattered very minor surface scratches, abrasions, gentle rubbing to the high points of the design, and some minor light surface soiling to the recessed areas of the design, consistent with age and gentle handling. The bronze with a few occasional very minor casting flaws, not visually detractive. All sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. With a period heat cap in good condition. A rare and early model executed with a rich and highly nuanced color palette.
