Condition

Overall very good condition. This is an assembled set and therefore there is a slight variation in the coloration of the patina across the set. The bronze surfaces throughout with scattered surface scratches, abrasions, , rubbing to the patina, minor discolorations, and scattered minor areas of pitting and oxidation consistent with age and use. The glass cabochons appear in the good condition throughout, with a few on various pieces which appear to have been reset. The inkwell with a period commercial glass inkwell liner in good condition with scattered minor light surface scratches. The rocker blotter with replaced blotter pad. The bookends with a faint green and red wash to the recessed areas of the design, visible in the catalogue illustration. The paper knife is very minimally bent. A very attractive and comprehensive set.
