Condition
Painting has been relined. The surface is clean and painting is presentable as is. The paint surface has been well retained, with nice detail throughout the architecture and fresh coloration. Examination under UV: there are scattered small areas of retouching in the sky: these include two areas at center over what appear to be two repaired punctures and a small tear or scratch; some others at upper right and upper left; and some very small scattered dots of retouching. The architecture looks very good with only a few minor retouches at left side. Some small dots of retouching in water and some larger areas along the bottom edge. These restorations have been well applied and the painting can be hung in its present state with no further work needed.
In a modern gilt wood frame with minor nicks.
